NEWTON TOWNSHIP
Synopsis of Action Taken June 9, 2009

Present: Supervisor Adams, Clerk Aldrich, Treasurer Clutter, Trustee Radcliff, and Trustee Eyre.
Meeting called to order at 7:02pm at the Township Hall.
Action taken: Agenda approved. Minutes of May 12, 2009 approved. Treasurer’s report accepted and put on file. Cash on Hand balance is $365,133.71. Approved transfer of $350.00 from line item Comm. Build. Capital Outlay to line item Cemetery Opening/Closing on the 2008-2009 Budget. Approved purchase of 5 turnout gears for Fire Dept. Approved new position of Fire Department Administrative Assistant. Defeated removing Administration Fee from the 2009-2010 Budget. Approved the submission of the 2009-2010 Budget for public review and final approval. Public Hearing for the 2009-2010 Budget will be Tuesday, July 14, 2009 during the monthly meeting. Approved payment of MCM Insurance before the end of the fiscal year. Wireless internet access now available at Township Building.
