Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009
Meeting called to order by Supervisor Jeff Adams at 10:01 a.m. Present were Supervisor Jeff Adams, Treasurer Shirley Clutter, Trustee Keith Eyre.
Absent: Troy Radcliff, Trustee, Mary Aldrich, Clerk.
A discussion on investment rates and length of time of investments.
Motion by Clutter / Eyre to move investments to United Education Credit Union. Motion CARRIED
Motion made by Eyre/Clutter to;
Invest of Fire Dept $30,000.00 C.D. (plus its interest) with a withdraw from its Trust to make 50,000.00 for 12 months C.D.
General Fund C.D. invest in 2 (two) C.D. 1 @ 18 months, 50,000. plus its interest: 1 @ 50,000. plus its interest for 24 months.
Motion CARRIED.
Motion by Eyre/Clutter to wave the Townships 3% late fee on taxes from Feb. 17 to March 2 for this year only. This is due to the declining employment in our area. Motion CARRIED
